    Text Cornelius Dabney’s wife, Lucy, advertised a missing horse in 1738, indicating that Cornelius was probably already deceased (since a husband would have placed the advertisement if alive). This also indicates that she had not yet remarried. Virginia Gazette, Parks, 23 Feb 1739, p. 4.
